I help people to make more money without working any harder, and during the Women Speakers Association TV  (WSATV) Women Leaders’ Interview I share some tips for how you can make this happen in your life.

In this blog I also share some other tips that can help you work less and achieve more.

The truth is most people waste most of their time at work and don’t focus on income generating activities. Then they wonder why their business isn’t growing in the way they want it to.

My top five easy to implement tips to make the amount of money you want without having to work 14-15 hours a day are:

  1. Get a morning routine

This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to transform your business, your income and your productivity, which means you have more time for everything else in your life. This could be meditating, deciding what your priorities are for the day, eating breakfast with your family – whatever gets you positive and ready for the day.

  1. Do three things each day that are focused on income generation

Always do three activities that make you money first before you do anything else. These don’t have to be time consuming things. They could be following up with people who are interested in your product or service, checking with existing customers if they need anything else or posting on social media. Usually these are the things we run out of time for each day.

  1. Take back control of your day.

Rather than letting the day run you, and responding to issues as they come up, plan your day in advance. Have fixed times for emailing, making telephone calls and checking social media. Set a time slot in the morning and another in the afternoon for these tasks, and leave the rest of the day for focusing on higher priority business activities.

     4. Set aside a morning or afternoon to focus on strategic planning.

Use this time to plan your goals, check your progress against targets, develop new products and services, and explore who you need to connect with, what partnerships or joint working you could do.

  1. Kick frustration out of your business

If you are ready to give up on your business dreams then take the afternoon off and go do something you love and enjoy. It is when you are happy you will get inspired and also usually that’s when new work or money arrives because you are not sitting around being angry or frustrated. To attract the business you want you have to find the joy and excitement you felt when you first started it.
